Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SAYAMS Security Inc. handles personal information submitted through sayams.com and related business enquiries.

1. Information we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we may collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, company or property name, email address, phone number, municipality, preferred start date, requested service and site details.

Our website and hosting infrastructure may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, landing page, campaign parameters and submission time. We do not ask you to include sensitive personal information in the quote form.

To retain the source of an enquiry as you move between pages, we temporarily store your first page, referring page and campaign parameters in your browser tab. These details are included with an enquiry you submit and help us understand how people find our services. This temporary record does not contain the contact details you enter in the form.

We use the Google Ads tag to measure website visits and whether our ads lead to enquiries. Google may use cookies and receive technical information such as IP addresses, device information, page URLs and advertising click identifiers. Our enquiry conversion event contains a random reference to help prevent duplicate counting; it does not include your name, email address, phone number or message. Google may process information outside Canada. See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking advertising tracking does not prevent you from submitting an enquiry.

2. Why we use it

We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess a service request, prepare or discuss a proposal, maintain business records, protect the website from misuse and meet legal or regulatory obligations. We will not use your enquiry to send unrelated marketing unless you have agreed to receive it or the law otherwise permits.

3. Consent and limiting collection

By submitting the form, you consent to the collection and use described here for the purpose of responding to your request. Please provide only information relevant to the site or service. You may withdraw consent for optional uses, subject to legal, contractual and record-retention limits.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that host, secure, maintain or operate the website and its forms, or with professional advisers when reasonably necessary. These providers may process information on our behalf and may operate in other jurisdictions. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, or in an emergency involving life, health or security.

We do not sell personal information submitted through the quote form.

5. Retention and safeguards

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the enquiry, business relationship, legal obligations and legitimate recordkeeping needs. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Access and correction

You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access or correction, subject to lawful limits. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

7. External links

This website may link to external websites or files. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

8. Contact and complaints

For a privacy question, access or correction request, withdrawal of consent, or complaint, contact:

We will review the request and respond as required. If a concern is not resolved, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another privacy regulator with jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, service providers or legal requirements change. The current version and update date will remain posted on this page.
